Part A
After reading these interviews some significant things I have learning was that life wasn't easy for anyone during the depression, especially the woman. Woman had and absurd amount of responsibility and work to handle on a day to day basis. Such as watching the children, cleaning the clothes, prepare the dinner and according to Mrs. Elizibeth E. Miller bringing in the hog which was very heavy and which is originally a mans work. But she had to do it due to the fact that her husband got home very late from searching for work or working. For Mrs. Mayme Reese something exiting she had looked out for was the quilting parties which took place about twice a year. The person who had the prettiest pattern and prettiest colored quilt got a prize. Mrs. Marie Haggerty didn't have a regular woman's work she was tested for honesty and looks. She was a maid.

Part B
Jesse Owens is being interviewed. He was a student at the University of Ohio, Olympic winner, and also the fastest runner in the world. He is an African American of young age around late 20's. The interview is taking place in Cleveland, Ohio. The interview is on April 22, 1939. Rhusses L. Perry is the interviewer. It seems to me that he worked very hard to get where he was in society at the time, especially when so much was going on in his life.
